On some occasions we find that sending emails from our website or online store does not work with our Gmail account.

One of the most common cases is that the account password has been changed, and for this reason our website or online store was unable to send correctly.
First we will check that the configuration data (smtp, port, email account and password) is correct in:

If we have a Corporate Website:
Parameters> Web parameters> Email.

If we have an Online Store:
Parameters> Web parameters> Email.
Parameters> Shop parameters> Email.

If apparently everything is correct, another reason is usually that the account has been blocked for use by third-party applications. In this case we must carry out the following 2 steps.

1.Allow access to your Google account:


Once we access with our Google / Gmail account, a button will appear that says "CONTINUE", we click on the button and we will have access to the account.

2. Allow unsafe app access:


Access our account and check that we have the option marked "Yes".

With this we should be able to make the shipments again normally.
